L'edificio risale ai primi del '500 e nel 1853 ha subito un radicale lavoro di ristrutturazione ad opera del famoso Architetto Fuin il quale, nel disegnare la facciata, prese spunto dallo schema delle Procuratie Vecchie di Piazza S. Marco.
Il risultato è sorprendente nell'eleganza e nello stile, e mantiene nel rapporto marmo e ferro il fascino del gusto Liberty.La struttura si espande su una superficie di circa 750 metri quadri e si compone di 25 camere con vista, disposte su 4 piani con ascensore.
